What is eRepo?

eRepo is an open-access research article repository built by HafizLab. It provides free, searchable access to millions of peer-reviewed scientific articles aggregated from major academic databases including Crossref and OpenAlex.

Our mission is to democratize access to scientific knowledge — making it easier for researchers, students, educators, and curious minds to discover and explore academic literature without barriers.

Data Sources

  • Crossref — DOI registration, journal metadata, article bibliographic data
  • OpenAlex — Open access status, fulltext links, citations
  • DOAJ — Directory of Open Access Journals

Technology

eRepo is built using CodeIgniter 4 (PHP), PostgreSQL for the database, and Bootstrap 5 for the frontend. The platform is developed and maintained by HafizLab.
